Since 1986
Our family came to the Texas Hill Country in 1986. Today Black Eagle Ranch covers more than 3,700 acres of live oak, cedar and open grass outside Harper, home to 33 species we raise and breed on our own ground. Some survive in only a handful of places on earth.

Two Residents
Meet Patches & Cindy.
Our two giraffes have never been on the list, and they never will be. They're part of the family, and guests are welcome to stop by and say hello during their stay.

Every hunt is fully guided and built around your schedule, with no clock to beat. Hunt as many days as it takes to find the animal you came for.
Meals and lodging on the ranch arrive with the new lodge in Spring 2027.
